Steven R. Sessler, DDS " Dr. Steve"
Dr. Sessler has served his entire dental career in the Southern Tier. Following his graduation from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in June, 2000, and an additional residency year of advanced education, also at UB, he began a position at Cuba Memorial Hospital dental clinic. His initial plan was to remain in the area for 4-5 years and then return to Erie County. However, Dr. Sessler says that he was struck by the kindness and generosity of spirit of so many that he met in his work, and in the community, and so his plans changed.
Perceiving a need for his services in the area, Dr. Sessler was pleased to open the doors of his new office in September 2007. Now beginning its 16th year of operation, Dr. Sessler and his staff offer a wide variety of dental treatments to his patients. He places a high priority on making sure each patient has a pleasant and comfortable experience while at the office. Every patient is unique, and each treatment plan is carefully developed, tailored to a patients individual needs, wants, and wishes. He strongly believes that dental health is an integral part of a person's overall health and wellness, and contributes also to a sense of confidence and well-being.
Dr. Sessler says that he considers it a privilege and an honor to serve the community, and wishes to express his appreciation for the support he has received from the many who have entrusted his office with their dental needs. Jonathan S Sessler, DDS "Dr. J"
Dr. J joined our practice in August 2022 after graduating from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine (UBSDM) in May 2021. Following completion of his dental studies, Dr. J completed a rigorous one year dental residency at the Erie County Medical Center (ECMC). In July 2022, he completed this General Practice Residency (GRP). His training included work in the ECMC emergency clinic, comprehensive care, oral oncology and the Buffalo General Hospital Dental Clinic. During his training he was involved in the treatment of dental emergency and dental trauma patients. During his time there he developed a special interest in the treatment of special needs and oral oncology patients. Prior to pursuing his dental career Dr. J completed his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences and Chemistry from the University of Buffalo. He went on to complete a masters degree working in the Buffalo Undersea Reef Research (BURR) lab at UB in a single year, typically a two year program. At the BURR lab, he studied the effects of carbon dioxide build-up in the atmosphere and the resulting increase in acidity of the oceans, which in turn causes damage to coral reefs.
As a resident at ECMC, Dr. Jonathan Sessler stood out among his peers due to his skill in oral surgery, removable prosthetics (dentures), restorative, crown and bridge, and implants. Dr. J was invited and encouraged to continue at ECMC for a second year as a senior resident, but declined. He chose to work in Cuba because of his commitment to serving the southern tier region.
Dr. J is passionate about healthful living and enjoys athletics. He has run numerous 5K races, the Buffalo Turkey Trot, half-marathons and completed the Buffalo Marathon. He and his wife Mikaela recently celebrated their 5th anniversary. They enjoy spending time with their two dachshunds Violet and Luna and traveling to new places together.

Margaret is our Office Manager. She has been with us since our office opened in 2007 and can help you with any questions you might have regarding your dental needs.
Margaret is a long time resident of Bolivar, New York.

Receptionist
When you come into our office you will first be greeted by Kayt. She will help you answer any questions and get appointments scheduled with us. Kayt is from Bolivar but resides in Cuba with her son.

Morgan handles our billing and deals with insurances . She lives in Bolivar, NY and has been with us since 2016. She enjoys going to concerts in her spare time,

Registered Dental Hygienist
Megan is a Dental Hygienist. She completed her degree at Erie County Community College in 2016 and has been with us since. She lives in Portville NY with her husband, but is originally from Gold, PA. Megan grew up around horses and enjoys horseback riding.
Stacey
Registered Dental Hygienist
Stacey is a Dental Hygienist. She completed her degree at Monroe Community College in 2020. She was a Dental Assistant prior from 2015-2018. She has 1 dog Odie and two cats Trigger and Trouble. She enjoys hanging out with her daughter, niece and nephew.

Certified Dental Assistant
Cait has been with us since 2019. She attended the Dental Assiting program at the Olean BOCES. Cait is originally from Bolivar NY, but now resides in Portville NY with her Husband and Daughter. Cait also has a photography business she does on the side.
Hayleigh
Certified Dental Assistant
Hayleigh joined our team in August 2022. She attended the Dental Assisting program at the Olean BOCES. She resides in Andover NY. Aside from dental Hayleigh loves the outdoors and is into her fitness!

Certified Dental Assistant
Ally graduated from the Olean BOCES Dental Assistant program in 2017. She has been a Dental Assistant for 7 years. Ally resides in Franklinville with her Husband and two boys. Ally enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs, going for walks and exploring the outdoors.

Dental Assistant
Liz joined us this year and has been a huge asset to our team. She keeps our office running smoothly. Liz is from Portville and has 1 dog named Diggs. Outside of work she enjoys watching the Bills, going to concerts and hanging out with her dog.
